Shetland is surrounded by fishing grounds, which are stocked with a variety of different species. In addition the clear Atlantic waters provide the perfect habitat for a range of aquaculture operations.

Shetland SeaFish is located off the east coast of Shetland on the small island of Whalsay. Our factory is capable of processing to the highest standard.

SeaFish can provide Salmon, Mussels and Scallops as well as Cod, Monk, Haddock and Halibut. Products are sourced locally and landed, processed and dispatched within the day.

Shetland fishing boats are owned by local families who rely on the environment for their livelihood. They depend upon responsible working practices and care is taken to preserve resources for future generations.

Shetland’s aquaculture has been at the forefront of pioneering developments into rearing new species and techniques to allow farmers to produce some of the finest natural seafood.
